We are looking for a Receptionist!

Job Description:
Ripplecove Hotel & Spa, a prestigious establishment located on the shores of beautiful Lake Massawippi, is seeking a dynamic and passionate Receptionist to join our welcoming team. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the Receptionist will play a central role in the guest experience by providing outstanding service throughout reservations, check-ins, and check-outs. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Warmly welcome guests and provide exceptional service from the moment they arrive;
• Manage reservations, arrivals, and departures efficiently and professionally;
• Respond promptly and courteously to inquiries by phone, email, or in person;
• Anticipate guest needs and deliver personalized service to ensure guest satisfaction;
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience;
• Promote hotel services, local attractions, and regional activities to enhance the guest stay;
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.

Requirements:

• Bilingualism in French and English required;
• Minimum of one year of prior experience in a similar role preferred;
• Education in hospitality and/or relevant experience is an asset;
• Knowledge of the region and local tourist attractions is an asset;
• Proficiency with computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite, PMS (Hotello is an asset);
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
